Coronavirus Update

No change for GP Practices 9th August. This means we will continue to limit numbers in the waiting room and face coverings are still required. Please only enter the surgery at the time of your pre-arranged appointment, if you are early please wait outside.  Please stay at home if you have Covid -19 symptoms and arrange testing via NHS Inform.

Samples and prescription requests should be put in the Practice letterbox. For all other enquiries we ask that you press the buzzer.  Please be patient, the receptionist may be dealing with another patient. We hope you will appreciate that we have taken these measures to limit the spread of infection and to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

On the advice of Health Protection Scotland we now have a process where by all callers will be screened by telephone in the first instance. To help navigate your call staff will ask you for a brief description why you are contacting the Practice today.
Thank you for your understanding.

Vaccination

Please note patients will be notified when they become eligible to book an appointment for the COVID-19 vaccine, this may not be at the Practice.  PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT YOUR GP SURGERY.    Visit NHS Inform for the latest guidance on coronavirus COVID-19, including COVID-19 Vaccination,  symptom checker, self-care and social distancing and to see the JVCI vaccination programme priority groups  Vaccination Certificates are not currently issued when you are vaccinated –  please do not contact the  Practice to ask for a Covid vaccination passport or status certificate – we will not be able to provide any standard document. International certification standards have not yet been agreed. The Scottish Government is working to support the re-opening of international travel once it is safe to do so. Health Boards are working with the other UK Nations and with the World Health Organisation to agree on potential future COVID certification requirements for international travel. As part of this, they are developing a technical solution that could allow people to access their Covid vaccination status directly.
