COVID -19 Update

Please note patients will be notified when they become eligible to book an appointment for the COVID-19 vaccine, this may not be at the Practice. We are awaiting government response re any “certification” of having been vaccinated.

The Practice continues to be operational but the doors will be locked. Please do not attend the Practice unless you have been advised by a clinician. We hope you will appreciate that we have taken these measures to limit the spread of infection and to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

On the advice of Health Protection Scotland we now have a process where by all callers will be screened the first instance, therefore Patient contact with the Practice will be, where possible dealt with by telephone or video consultation. Our reception team will ask you a few question to ensure that you are directed to the appropriate service or clinician. If you have been asked to attend the surgery please make the Practice aware of any cough, temperature or loss of smell and/or taste symptoms prior to attending.

Things look a little different when you attend the surgery;

Reception staff, Nurses and Doctors will be wearing face masks when you see them.

The waiting room will look different and there are screens around the reception desk.

These measures are for your protection and the protection of our staff.
